This is an original pottery piece created by Lyn Anderson
What appeares to be a simple ceramic bowl at a glance is much more than that. The bowl is wide and shallow with gently sloping sides, giving it a handmade, earthy feel. Its surface has a deep red glaze that catches the light in soft highlights, while the interior shows subtle circular texture from the shaping process.
On the glazed sections of the bowl, if one looks close enough, they can see a repeating rippling pattern of roses, created by carving and embossing into the piece, the light hooks onto this texture creating a quiet contrast with the richer sheen inside. The overall composition is minimal and calm, with the bowl’s warm tones standing out.
A bouquet of roses that never wilts.
The work was created in 2026.
The piece is 7" tall by 5" in diameter.
This Artwork is part of the "Pigment of Your Imagination" temporary Exhibit. Come see it in person during the months of April to May 2026.
