This painting is an artist's depiction of a large storm cloud rolling over the landscape bellow. The bright yellow of the ground enhances both the darkness and hints of light and colour in the swirling cumulonimbus clouds. you can see the rhythm and flow that Wendy had while making the clouds swirl through her brush strokes. The painting has quite a bit of texture in person that just cannot be replicated through a photograph.
This artwork was created in 2018.
The picture is unframed, and is 36" tall by 24" wide.
This artwork is part of the "Storm Chasers" temporary exhibit. Come and see it in person through out the months of June and July 2024.
