This is an original abstract Artwork created by Peter Caden.
A single, perfectly round disk dominates the square field — a dense mandala of concentric rings rendered in green tones. From the tiny central pinwheel the lines spiral outward in ever-widening bands: lime, emerald, teal and forest slip past one another, sometimes thin and closely spaced, sometimes broader and more relaxed, creating a vibrating, almost optical effect. The paint catches the light subtly, giving the rings a faint sheen that makes the surface look slightly metallic or wet in places.
The background is a warm, pale mint green cream that hushes itself so the green circle reads like a meditative sun or a planted garden seen from above. The circle sits centrally and calmly, its edges crisply defined against the quiet field. Up close you can sense texture — tiny ridges following the spiral, the evidence of deliberate, rhythmic application that invites the eye to trace the path from center to perimeter.
Overall the image feels hypnotic and orderly but alive: geometric rigor softened by painterly surface and color variation. It reads as both an object to study — a target, a tree-ring diagram, a spinning record — and an image to lose yourself in, evoking stillness, focus and the slow movement of repetition.
