Brenda displays her still life in our gallery and she has photographed and worked with her medium in new and interesting ways.
The image showcases a beautifully layered flower with soft, delicate petals that appear almost ethereal against a dark background. The petals are a subtle mix of creamy white and faint ivory, creating a gentle glow as they catch the light. Their edges are frilled and textured, adding depth and dimension to the composition.
The flower seems to unfold in a graceful manner, inviting the viewer's eye to explore its intricate details. The shadows and highlights interplay to create a sense of movement, suggesting a liveliness even in stillness.
The petals of the flower are also reminiscent of the sea, they look almost like a series of soft whit shells curling in on themselves, or waves in the ocean, foaming and rolling.
