This is an original abstract Artwork created by Peter Caden.
This work is created with Acrylic paints on a Stretched Canvas. Peter has perfected the skill of crisply creating perfect circles in patterns with sharp lines.
A perfect, sunlike disk dominates the frame — a large circle of concentric rings in warm yellows and oranges that seem to glow from the center. The rings are not mechanically perfect; you can see subtle variations in tone and brushwork, thin bands of pale lemon pushing against deeper golds and soft, peachy oranges. At the very core the color tightens into a small, almost molten knot of brighter yellow, giving the composition a gentle focal pulse.
That luminous circle sits on a richly textured field of deep cobalt blue. The blue is velvety and slightly uneven, as if layered with washes of pigment that catch the eye differently across its surface. A narrow, darker rim outlines the yellow disk, separating it from the blue background and making the central form pop like a coin or a sun set against the sky.
The overall effect is simple but powerful: warm and cool locked in clear contrast, radiating energy while remaining calm and meditative. The painterly marks and shifting tones invite you to look closer — the piece feels handcrafted, intimate, and elemental, like an abstract study of light, heat, or a celestial body captured on a single, bold plane.
Its a feast for the eyes, a little sweet dessert for the viewer to enjoy.
The size of the piece is 30" tall by 40" wide.
