This is a pottery piece created by Roger Neufeld.
The work is a round abstract vase. It is done in a base cream color with clear glazes poured over top. Rodger scrapes away the glaze in sections before pouring another coat to give it more depth and texture.
Rogers goal with this piece was a play on Ying and Yang, and how the difference between the two doesn't always have to be so stark and noticeable. If you look closely on the vase, you can actually see the curves and segments of the Ying Yang symbol only made out a difference in the depth and amount of clear glaze. This balance is what gives this piece its name.
The piece is made with medium fired stoneware clay.
The piece was created in 2024.
The overall dimensions of the pottery are 12" tall by 13 1/2" wide and 5" deep .
