This is an original abstract artwork created by Paul Boultbee.
This work is an acrylic on canvas piece. The main background segment is a soft textured yellow colour which contrasts against the dark gold segment and the swatches of bright blue streaked with white. The fragment series all follow a very similar pattern with the main focus being how the shapes, textures and colours contrast against each other. Nothing is touching, everything is separated fragments with harsh edges and contrasts.
The paintings in Fragment series were created in 2021.
