These are functional wine glass pottery pieces created by Karen Brodie.
These are rounded ceramic vessels with a textured, speckled glaze in shades of blue and green, creating an organic, almost marbled effect. Each cup has an irregular, slightly asymmetrical texture that contributes to a handcrafted, artisanal feel, possibly made using a pottery technique that embraces natural imperfections for aesthetic appeal. The overall appearance evokes a sense of rustic elegance, blending natural tones with subtle artistry.
Each wine glass is made with Cone 6 Clay and has multiple types of of glaze used to give them the bubble texture and colour desired. The glasses have also been glazed on the inside with a food safe glaze, making them safe for actual use!
The glasses were created in 2025.
Each glass is sold separately, or 2 in a set.
The overall dimensions are 5" tall by 3" wide.
