These cards are printed reproductions of original artworks created by Tracey McBeth-Kachor.
The images are based around the "Seven Sacred Grandfather Teachings". Each card encompasses one of these teachings. Buffalo- Respect, Turtle- Truth, Eagle- Love, Bear- Courage, Beaver- Wisdom, Sabe- Honesty and Wolf - Humility.
Tracey McBeth-Kachor Artist Statement:
A Cree Métis from the Red River settlement, I was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, have lived in Alberta for most of my life with some artistic growth that happened in Victoria, British Columbia. Focusing mainly on canvas now, I am known for murals in several local businesses, as well as “The Furniture Project” in Victoria in the late 1990’s to early 2000’s. I create in all types of styles, always wanting to continue growing.
