This is a Raku styled statuary pottery created by Elizabeth Schapansky.
It is a wall hanging decoration. The figure has a crown of flowers upon their forehead that are glazed blue and stand out among the more neutral tones of the piece. The face is surrounded by folds of clay that look astoundingly like real fabric in how it flows. Elizabeth has meticulously carved and shaped a human face in the clay.
The mask is made with Clay and Glazes and was sandblasted to give it the texture that it has.
The work was created in 2023.
The overall dimensions of the pottery are 13" tall by 10" wide by 5 1/8" deep.
