IT is a two piece pottery set of a fish. when put together, it looks like the fish is breaching both its head and tail out of the surface of "water" the method Lyn used to give the fish its finish makes it appear as it might have on that style of fish. It almost has a bronze statue feel to it.
The pottery is made with pit fired stoneware. The work was created in 2023.
The instructions for cleaning this pottery piece say "dust only" as the way it was finished leaves the clay still porous to liquids.
The overall dimensions of the pottery are for the head: 5" tall by 5" wide, and the tail is 3 1/2" tall by 8 1/2" wide.
