This is an original pottery piece created by Lyn Anderson
A low, leaf-shaped dish, its edges irregular and slightly curled like a real dried leaf. The interior has a glossy, almost metallic sheen — deep bronze and black tones catch the light and pick out a faint pattern of veins and tiny imperfections that give it a handcrafted, pottery-like feel. One end tapers to a little pointed tip while the other is broader and gently scooped, and a soft shadow beneath hints that it’s shallow and lightweight. Overall it feels organic and artful, like a small sculptural tray or decorative platter.
The pottery is made with Raku clay and has gone through a raku firing process.
The work was created in 2025.
