This is an original Artwork created by Kelvin Christensen.
This work is created with watercolour paints on paper.
The scene depicts a serene landscape, likely a mountain lake at sunrise or sunset.
A body of water, with softly blended colors of light peach, beige, and pale blues, occupies the central mid-ground.
Two distinct, dark, pine-like trees bunches stand prominently on the shoreline, one slightly taller and slightly left of center, on a light tan, unevenly colored bank. Slightly further back/right, similar trees are visible, but against much more vibrant, rusty orange and tan colored mountains.
The mountains form a backdrop and their layers are painted with soft shades of pale greens, browns, and faded tans, making a gentle transition to the soft, pastel colors of the sky. The sky is muted, suggesting the time of day is dawn or dusk, with shades of pale pink, light orange, and lavender.
The style is impressionistic, with gentle brushstrokes creating atmosphere and mood rather than precise detail. Colors are blended to form soft gradients, and the overall impression is of calmness and beauty.
