This is an original Oil Paint Art work by Galyna Petrova.
The subject matter is an artists depiction of a stream branching and flowing over rocks. The nearby plants are in full vibrant growth from the nourishing waters. Galyna's technique when it comes to oil paint, is to apply it in thick strokes with a pallet knife (or paint knife). The use of such applicator makes it so that every stroke has definition and texture, giving the painting a three dimensional nature. Seeing just a picture of it does no justice to being able to view it in person.
