This is an original Oil Paint Art work by Galyna Petrova.
The subject matter is an artists depiction of a stream in winter, you can see the segments of ice crawling their way into the water currents starting from the waters edge. Galyna's technique when it comes to oil paint, is to apply it in thick strokes with a pallet knife (or paint knife). The use of such applicator makes it so that every stroke has definition and texture, giving the painting a three dimensional nature. Seeing just a picture of it does no justice to being able to view it in person.
This artwork was created in 2023.
The size of the artwork is 50 cm tall by 50 cm long.
